Chumbawamba, is an english anarchist music group. It revolved from its punk roots, through folk, pop and techno to the english anarchist folk group which it is now. The band is known for its polyphony and its non-conformant lyrics. The band was formed in 1982 from two other bands based in Yorkshire, The Passion Killers and Chimp Eats Banana.
