Twelve Girls Band is a music group with thirteen female artists, always appearing as twelve on stage, using traditional Chinese instruments to play both Chinese traditional and Western songs. Formed on June 18, 2001, the girls were selected by audition from over 4000 contestants, all studying at prestigious schools in the People’s Republic of China (China).
