A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, pianist/vocalist Anjani combines her love of jazz with folk, Hawaiin, and other diverse musical influences. Born Anjani Thomas, she attended Berklee College of Music in Boston before moving to New York City. During the early '80s she performed around Manhattan, later meeting legendary singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen. Subsequent tours and recording work with Cohen on such albums as his 1988 release I'm Your M
