Yndi Halda (pronounced Yin-Dee Hal-Dar) are a post-rock band from Canterbury, United Kingdom. The band writes expansive, cinematic music comparable to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, but are often considered more ‘optimistic’ or ‘hopeful’ than these bands with extremely energetic live performances, allowing them to stand between the ‘traditional’ post rock genre and the more upbeat American indie-rock.
