Ugly Kid Joe (whose name is a response to Pretty Boy Floyd) formed in Isla Vista, California,
and features vocalist Whitfield Crane, guitarists Klaus Eichstadt and Dave Fortman (who replaced Roger Lahr), bassist Cordell Crockett, and drummer Mark Davis.
